The Iraqi Board of Medical Specializations announces the opening of applications for its studies for the academic year 2026-2027. Physicians, dentists, and pharmacists wishing to apply should visit the headquarters of the Iraqi Board of Medical Specializations. The application period will begin on 15/2/2026 and continue until the end of official working hours on 30/4/2026.

His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, joined the Iraqi Board of Medical Specializations in its celebration of its students' graduation and honored the top graduates.

We would like to inform you that the graduation ceremony will take place on Thursday, 11/12/2025 at 9:00 AM in the Hall of the Martyr Dr. Darb Al-Mousawi for Conferences / Medical City Complex.

The President of the Iraqi Board of Medical Specializations and his accompanying delegation visited the Kufa Training Hospital center in Najaf Governorate. During his visit, he met with professors and students from all specializations. The President of the Iraqi Board stated that the meeting addressed key logistical issues, organizational and technical matters, the requirements for opening the program, and mechanisms for achieving the highest levels of medical training for applicants, in addition to listening to some opinions to ensure the success of the training center.

New students applying for study at the Iraqi Board of Medical Specializations 2025-2026 must pay the application form fees exclusively via electronic payment (POS).

The Women's Empowerment Unit at the Iraqi Board of Medical Specializations, in collaboration with the Scientific Council of Obstetrics and Gynecology, held a seminar entitled (The Dangers of Homosexuality) on Tuesday, 11/9/2023, for the female employees of the Iraqi Board.
